The Veroot training portal has been rebuilt to perform even better. New features improve the way people actually use it. Veroot eTraining now supports Learning Management Style features and mobile compatibility. Every course, password, and certificate you have today carries over untouched. What changes is the experience around it.
Here is what your people will notice on their next assigned training.
- 1 field. One credential dropdown replaces seven separate boxes.
- 0 retyping. Reminder emails fill the form in for you.
- Any device. Phone, tablet, or desk, including out in the warehouse.
Signing in takes seconds
The old form asked for a vetting number without saying which kind. Then it showed seven boxes and let you guess. Now you pick your credential type from a list and enter one number.
- Start from your email. The link in a training reminder opens the portal with your name and credential already filled in. You add the access password and go.
- You can see what you are starting. The training you were reminded about is named right there on the sign-in screen. No doubt you opened the right one.
- Nothing sensitive travels in the link. Vetting numbers are never in the web address. Pre-filled details clear themselves after a few minutes on a shared machine.
Working through the material is clearer
The slides sit in a clean, readable card instead of the old boxed-in layout. Your place in the wider queue stays visible the whole time.
- Your training queue is on screen. A panel on the left lists what else is assigned to you and how many are left. Nobody finishes one course assuming they are done.
- Buttons say what they do. "I Acknowledge" and "Submit" replaced internal labels. Acknowledgement slides are numbered so you can tell them apart.
- Confirmations stay long enough to read. The check that appears when you acknowledge a slide no longer vanishes the moment you touch the screen.
Taking the test, without losing your place
Questions and answers are spaced for real reading, on a phone as much as a monitor. The biggest change is what happens when you want to check something.
- Go back to the material and keep your answers. Reviewing the curriculum used to open a second window and abandon everything you had chosen. It now opens in the same place, holds your answers, and offers a way back to the test from every slide.
- One submission, once. A finished test cannot be sent twice by accident. Going back to a test you have already passed takes you to your certificate instead.
- You always know it worked. Submitting shows a clear "Submitting Answers" state. No wondering whether the click landed.
Your certificate, and the ones before it
Passing shows your score straight away. The certificate sits on the same screen rather than behind another click.
- Earlier certificates are listed too. The most recent for each training, with the date and score, ready to open or save.
- What is still outstanding is right underneath. Anything else assigned to you can be started from the same screen, in one click.
Built for a computer other people use
Plenty of compliance training happens on a shared terminal in a warehouse or dispatch office. The portal was rebuilt with that in mind.
- You can see your time. A countdown sits on every screen. Nobody gets caught mid-question or left guessing how long they have.
- Sessions close themselves. Step away and the portal signs out on its own, then says why when you come back. Your completed training stays on your record.
- One button to hand it over. "I'm done for now" clears your details from the machine, so the next person starts clean.
- Your company on the page. Accounts can show their own logo in the portal header. Employees recognize the training as their organization's.
What hasn't changed
This is the same training program your people already know. The rebuild is the way it looks and the way it moves, not the substance.
✓ The same access passwords. Nothing to reissue and nothing for coordinators to redistribute.
✓ The same courses and questions. Every training keeps its existing content and pass mark.
✓ The same records. Completions and certificates already on file are unaffected.
✓ The same reminder emails. They now carry a link that does the typing for you.
For security coordinators
Nothing is required of you to move across. Employees who follow a reminder link land in the new portal automatically. Your assignment and reporting screens are unchanged.
Have questions? Your Veroot contact can walk a coordinator through the new sign-in on a call, and is happy to sit in on a first group session. Get in touch and we will set up a time.
